When Replacement Is Necessary

Your Windshield Does More Than You Think

The windshield contributes up to 30% of a vehicle's structural rigidity and is the primary backstop for the passenger-side airbag. Driving on cracked or compromised glass puts you, your passengers, and other drivers at risk.

  • Cracks longer than 6 inches

Structural integrity is compromised and resin injection can't fully restore it.

  • Damage in the driver's line of sight

Even a repaired chip can cause optical distortion that impairs vision.

  • Cracks that reach the glass edge

Edge cracks compromise the seal and spread rapidly with temperature changes.

  • Multiple or layered impacts

Overlapping damage weakens the glass beyond what repair can address.

  • Pitting across the field of view

Years of sandblasting from road debris can blur vision in sunlight and at night.

The Process

Professional Installation, Start to Finish

01

01

Glass Selection

We source OEM-equivalent glass matched exactly to your year, make, and model — including any embedded antennas or rain sensors.

02

02

Safe Removal

The old windshield is carefully cut free without damaging the pinch weld, trim, or sensors.

03

03

Prep & Prime

The frame is cleaned, primed, and inspected for rust or frame damage before the new glass is fitted.

04

04

Urethane Bond

High-strength urethane adhesive is applied in a precise bead. The new windshield is set and aligned.

05

05

Cure & Inspect

The installation cures to drive-away strength in 60 minutes. We inspect the seal and clean the glass before handing back your keys.

Does Your Car Have ADAS? You'll Need Recalibration.

Vehicles with forward-collision warning, lane-departure assist, or adaptive cruise control use a camera or radar module mounted to the windshield. After glass replacement, that camera must be recalibrated to the new glass angle — or your safety systems won't work correctly. We perform ADAS calibration in-house so you leave with every system functioning as designed.

FAQ

Windshield Replacement Questions

How long does a windshield replacement take?

Most replacements are completed in 60–90 minutes. We recommend waiting at least one hour after installation before driving to allow the urethane adhesive to achieve a safe drive-away strength.

Do you use OEM or aftermarket glass?

We use OEM-equivalent (Original Equipment Equivalent) glass that meets or exceeds manufacturer specifications for clarity, thickness, and UV protection. OEM-brand glass is available upon request. We'll discuss options with you when you book.

Will my insurance cover windshield replacement?

Yes, if you carry comprehensive coverage. Your deductible may apply for replacements (unlike repairs, which are typically zero-deductible in Colorado). We work directly with all major insurers and handle the paperwork so you don't have to.

Does a new windshield come with a warranty?

Yes. Every windshield we install comes with a lifetime warranty against defects in workmanship and materials — including water leaks, optical distortion, and installation defects. Damage from future impacts is not covered.

My car has a front-facing camera. Will it still work after replacement?

If your vehicle has ADAS features (lane-keep assist, automatic emergency braking, etc.), the camera mounted to the windshield requires recalibration after glass replacement. We offer in-house ADAS calibration to ensure your safety systems work correctly.

Can you come to my home or office?

Yes. Our mobile technicians travel throughout Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, Windsor, and surrounding Northern Colorado communities. Most mobile jobs can be scheduled next-day.
